I specialize in AI development and full-stack engineering, creating intelligent systems, scalable web applications, and immersive experiences that solve real-world problems with innovative technology. These days that means leading software engineering at Revision Dojo (YC F24) where I’m shipping their AI lecture generation system and interactive learning elements.
At 11, I made my first ever video game in Unity. It was a simple parkour game I made by following Brackey’s tutorial video, but I abandoned it because it was too hard. At 13, I started sports betting with arbitrage and made my first $500 in a single day. Back then I thought I was determined to become a millionaire by just betting every day, until I quickly got banned after only one week.
At 15, I picked up programming again and learned Python and JavaScript. I built my first website by following courses from Udemy and CS50. At 16, I got a huge interest in artificial intelligence and started to build AI applications with GPT-4.
At 17, I started my first company, Vector. At first, it was only something I wanted to work on to impress colleges, but I raised $81k from a hackathon I participated in. Throughout the journey I met people like Andrew, Nicolas and PG from YC, Troy from a16z, and countless YC founders who gave me so much guidance and insight — not only on how to run a business but also how to live an interesting life. (I even became a VC scout for Launch Lab and LvlUp Ventures.)
I have decided that, because I love building software, I will keep building software for the foreseeable future. So DM me at dekai@tryvector.tech if you have cool ideas or want to discuss things with me—or find me around the web below.
Most recently I’ve been architecting Revision Dojo’s internal AI lecture platform—experimenting with retrieval pipelines, auto-evaluated lesson plans, and playful interactive modules that make learning feel alive.
A quick pulse on the teams I'm helping scale—melding product intuition with deeply technical systems work.
